  My $4 rib secret is this Catfish skinner pliers I got a Walli World in the fishing section. It makes quick and easy work of removing the silver skin.

Rub and smoke at 250 for 2 hours I use a soup can as a water pan to increase humidity in the smoker which helps make the smoke flavor better.

I spritz with apple juice every 15 minutes which also helps make the smoke stick to the ribs more.



wrap and continue cooking for 1 hour 

Unwrap and let the ribs dry out for another hour or so at 225. You can sauce them if you like.
