Step 1: Gather the Ingredients
The secret to success in any recipe is to be organized at the beginning. Have all of your ingredients ready to go before you start cooking.
Step 2: Start Cooking
Zucchini, Peppers in large bite sized chunks because they are softer. Carrots, Celery, Onions sliced thin but also in large pieces because they are harder, this way when one is done the other is also done cooking.
Step 3: Keep Cooking
Season with your favorite spices, and keep moving everything around. Push to the side and add meat to the griddle.
Step 4: Pro Tip
Sticky Sauces on the Blackstone can be slightly annoying to clean. Even though it's just a few splashes of water sometimes the steam can push some burnt sugar onto your hand and cause a small burn. I figured I need a serving dish anyway for stir fry so I came up with this. I heat the sauce in a wok on the Blackstone, then mix it all together in the wok.
Step 5: Enjoy
Enjoy cooking on the Blackstone and come up with something new to cook next.
Blackstone
I have been cooking on a Blackstone for years. I see this has become an internet viral thing, but it started off humble and was geared more to the hunter and outdoors camping person. I picked this up the night before the 49ers lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, It is a first generation pro series and it works great. I simply spray it with pam before and after each cook, and every year at the beginning of spring and end of summer I give it a good season for half an hour with some canola oil. This is going on its 5th year of season and it's just now starting to get to where I want it.
