He graduated from Oxford in English Literature. He wrote over fifty books including novels, essays, screenplays,and poems. He gained a reputation as a writer and philosopher and is best remembered for his novel Brave New World. ; blue cloth bound boards; yellow decorative inked papers on top fore edge; minor crease on half-title page hinge.; English writer and philosopher Aldous Huxley was born in Surrey, England on July 26, 1894 and died in Los Angeles, CA on November 22, 1963, the same day President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.
