This is an Arts by Dylan original, I began putting this phrase on things for sale back in 2019 in preperation for the 2020 election.
And it still works, 5 years later.
There was far too much of this going on before the pandemic, during the pandemic, and even more depressing.... after the pandemic.
If this country could show a little confidence and and fake like it know's what it is doing it might actually get to a point where things get done the right way.
The Trucker Hat: A Brief History
The trucker hat, also known as a "gimme hat" or "feed cap," emerged in the 1960s and 1970s in the United States. Originally, it was designed as a promotional giveaway item by agricultural supply companies, feed stores, and rural businesses. These companies distributed the hats to truck drivers, farmers, and laborers, promoting their brands and services.
Characterized by its mesh back and foam front panel, the trucker hat was valued for its practicality. The mesh provided ventilation, keeping wearers cool during long hours of work or driving, while the foam front allowed for bold branding and logos. Its adjustable snapback made it a one-size-fits-all accessory, enhancing its appeal as a promotional item.
In the early 2000s, the trucker hat saw a resurgence in popularity as a fashion accessory. Celebrities and musicians, notably Ashton Kutcher and Pharrell Williams, were often seen sporting trucker hats, leading to its adoption by a broader audience. It became a symbol of casual, laid-back style, blending rural Americana with urban streetwear.
Today, the trucker hat remains a popular choice for both promotional purposes and fashion, appreciated for its comfort, versatility, and iconic style.
