He is best known for his Canterbury Tales. Chaucer in known as the Father of English Literature. This Franklin Editon is bound in green leather with gold accents and gold on all fore edges. It was published by The Franklin Library in 1981. Geoffrey Chaucer was born in London, England in 1343 and died in London on October 25, 1400.
